Brush manufacturers who use ZAHORANSKY machines and trimmers can now benefit from a significantly accelerated and qualitatively outstanding grinding service.
The entire process takes place in-house at ZAHORANSKY, which ensures particularly close quality control and precise, long-lasting grinding. This also guarantees perfect concentricity, which means that all cutting edges are exactly the same height. As a result, a significantly higher cutting quality can be achieved and the service life of the trimmers can be extended, which also significantly reduces the need for replacement or regrinding.
Instead of the previous four to six weeks, delivery times for regrinding are now only around one week.
The retooling times are also drastically reduced thanks to the new service offering, as the trimmers can now be ground in the storage block. This makes life even easier for brush manufacturers, as the cutters can be sent in directly in the housing. This eliminates the need for time-consuming (dis)assembly and re-alignment, which saves time and increases process reliability. For the first time, all trimmers and trimmer sizes from the ZAHORANSKY portfolio can now be reground in-house.
The ZAHORANSKY grinding service therefore ensures optimum cutting results at all times – from coarse to extremely fine filaments, with the thinnest material processed on the cutters to date having a thickness of just 0.068 mm. Even demanding organic filaments such as goat hair can be optimally processed. To guarantee maximum precision after grinding, ZAHORANSKY tests the trimmers with gold paper, which has an extremely low thickness of 0.018 mm. Thanks to the new grinding process, this can also be cut perfectly.
With the extended and optimized service, ZAHORANSKY offers brush manufacturers a well thought-out and quality-oriented overall package. Shorter downtimes, more durable cutters and less handling effort ensure more efficient operation and more economical processes.
