This is the conclusion of a survey conducted by the training platform AUBI-plus among current and former apprentices as well as trainers of the company. As ZAHORANSKY was also able to convince in many other areas and achieve 1,089 out of a possible 1,295 overall points, the full-range supplier for the brush industry and medical technology was awarded with the certificate “Best Place to Learn”. The award confirms ZAHORANSKY’s good reputation as a company, due to which many young professionals choose the mold and machine manufacturer.

For the certification as “Best Place to Learn”, AUBI-plus surveyed almost 80 current and former apprentices as well as employees involved in training. Among their generally good ratings, the exemplary onboarding stood out in particular. The rapid social and operational integration of the apprentices and the existence of fixed contact persons were frequently cited as reasons for this. The practical relevance of the program is also very well received. The mechatronics apprenticeship, for example, covers the entire spectrum of the profession, from welding to programming.
Good working atmosphere and many additional benefits
In addition to these specific aspects, the respondents also emphasized the generally positive working atmosphere. Many of the trainees mentioned, for example, the high level of helpfulness in the teams and the fast, uncomplicated integration into them. Another incentive for the apprenticeship at ZAHORANSKY: After successful graduation, employment is guaranteed for a temporary work contract. In addition, there are various benefits such as internal English lessons, a modern equipped training center as well as bonus payments for particularly good results. With the “Best Place to Learn” seal, AUBI-plus provides Germany’s companies with a comprehensive orientation framework for good dual professional training. The audit, which is conducted in advance among trainees and trainers, looks at the framework conditions and qualification processes of the training as well as its results and effects. The questions asked deal with seven quality areas that comprise a total of 72 quality criteria.
